Lebanon Lutheran School

Lebanon Lutheran School Staff

LLS Staff

I welcome this opportunity to introduce myself to the families of Lebanon Lutheran School. My name is Kathy Wagner and I am a retired educator who worked for 40 years in math education, guidance counseling, and school administration (both high school and elementary school). My other claim to fame is that I am a graduate of Immanuel Lutheran School when it was a two room school with grades 1-4 in one room and 5-8 in the other. My education from there included Watertown High School, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. My family includes my husband, Rich, and three daughters. It has grown with three son-in-laws and eight grandchildren, and four granddogs. In addition to lots of family time, I continue to tutor math, am a member of the Educational Foundation of Watertown, and on the Board of Directors of the Watertown Regional Medical Center. I am a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Watertown. My partner in this interim principalship is Kathy Lehman. She is highly qualified and we have very similar philosophies and interests. So as a team, we are excited to support the teachers and students and families of LLS through these spring months of the school year.   ~ Mrs. Kathy Wagner

Mrs. Anna Frazee – 7th & 8th Gradeafrazee@llsedu.org

I grew up in rural Adams County, Illinois, and lived in the Quincy, Illinois area until moving to southern Illinois to be with my husband, Rev. Joshua Frazee, after we married in July 2017.  In 2019, he accepted a call to serve at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mayville, Wisconsin, so we moved to southeastern Wisconsin where we are today.  I graduated from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois with a degree in elementary education, minor in Spanish, and an endorsement in middle school social studies.  I completed my masters degree at Quincy University in secondary history education with an endorsement in special education.  In 2014, I also completed all of the requirements to become a synodically-trained Lutheran teacher and was officially commissioned in 2015.  In 2017, I graduated with a masters in educational administration from Concordia University Chicago.  I have served schools in the Central Illinois District, Southern Illinois District, and the South Wisconsin District teaching a variety of subjects and grades with most of my time being spent in the middle school level.  I come to Lebanon Lutheran School with the joy of being able to share my faith and to help my students grow in their faith and knowledge.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, watching movies and tv shows, canoeing, and practicing karate.

Mrs. Christiana Childs – 3rd & 4th Grade

This is my first year at Lebanon Lutheran. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly! Prior to Lebanon I worked at Ixonia Elementary School for three years and before that I stayed home with my two boys, James (11) and William (8). I was raised in Oconomowoc and currently live in Oconomowoc. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison (go Bucky!) and my Masters degree from Michigan State University (go Sparty!). I love to read, take walks and hikes, travel, and spend time with my family.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

Mrs. Kathy Fortlage – 1st & 2nd Gradefortlagek@gmail.com

Mrs. Fortlage has been teaching for over 30 years, beginning her career here at LLS from 1990-1994 and returning to LLS in 2014 and is excited to be teaching “grand-students!” (children of past students!)  Mrs. Fortlage grew up attending Immanuel Lutheran School, (pre-merger with St. Peter’s) and later transferred to St. Peter’s and is excited to serve the Lord in Lebanon as her great-grandfather, Theodore Blase, did at Immanuel!

You might catch Mrs. Fortlage out fishing on Lake Michigan or area inland lakes with her husband of 32 years, Eric. Mrs. Fortlage has two grown daughters – Liz (married to Andy), and Erika. Mrs. Fortlage is also a grandmother to Soren, who will be 1 in November. She is an avid reader and most of the librarians at the Watertown Public Library know her by name and that she loves mysteries!

Mrs. Fortlage is a 39 year member of the Lebanon Band and plays the clarinet and has also been the emcee for band concerts.  You may also see Mrs. Fortlage on the organ or piano at St. Peter’s.

Mrs. Kiki Damrow – Kindergartenmrs.damrow@gmail.com

I am married to my husband Peter for 38 years and we have 2 girls, Jordan and Taylor. Jordan and her husband Brady made us grandparents for the first time this past October. Taylor is now living and working in Michigan, much closer than Philadelphia.  I spent much of the summer reading and relaxing up in the north woods at our cabin. We were able to go camping in late June to the Keewanaw peninsula, the northern tip of the UP. Lake Superior is always beautiful. I was also able to spend time with our new grandson, Henry. It is such a joy to be a grandma!

. . . whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.  1 Cor. 10:31

Ms. Tori Long – 4Ktoriellenlong@gmail.com

I’ve been working at LLS for 8 years. I started as the After School Care teacher at Immanuel and then became the 4K teacher. This year I get to spend time in all classes 4K-8th grade. I love to teach the older students, but my passion is Early Childhood. I graduated with my degree in Early Childhood and I have been in this field for over 15 years. I have worked at many NAEYC and NAC accredited centers as well as a sub in a lot of the surrounding schools. I have been teaching 4K here at LLS for 4.5 years.
